Increasing inflammation throughout our body is the number one problem of getting old. It causes all kinds of aches and pains anywhere and everywhere in our body.
Turmeric contains curcuminoids, which are powerful antioxidant compounds that help regulate inflammation and lower LDL in our blood.
Also, turmeric will bind with triglycerides in the blood and move them outside our body, helping to reduce high blood pressure.
I take one quarter of teaspoon of turmeric in powder form on the vegetable I eat for dinner five days a week.
